TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Scope of Services

The Chronic Illness Coach, hereafter referred to as "the Coach," offers a health coaching package that integrates Rapid Transformational Coaching with Integrative Nutrition Health coaching. The package includes a series of coaching sessions aimed at addressing chronic illness management and overall well-being. Sessions may be conducted in person, or online, as agreed upon by the client and the Coach.

2. Payment Terms

Clients agree to pay the specified fee for The Chronic Illness Coach's services. Payment can be made online. Payment is due subject to individual package requirements. Clients may pay in full upfront or in instalments. request instalment plans. Late payments may incur additional fees.

3. Cancellation Policy

Clients must provide 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling of coaching sessions. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in the session being forfeited. The Coach reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions with reasonable notice to the client.

4. Refund Policy

Refunds are available under the following circumstances:

  1. If the client is dissatisfied with the coaching services, a full or partial refund may be issued, as determined by the Coach.

  2. In cases of unforeseen circumstances or inability to continue the coaching program, a refund may be provided for remaining sessions.

5. Confidentiality

The Coach agrees to maintain the confidentiality of all information shared by the client during coaching sessions. Exceptions to confidentiality include:

  1. There is a life-threatening situation or if you, as the client, are an imminent danger to yourself or others.

  2. There is a requirement to share information by law.

 

We will keep coaching notes of each session to record the key themes discussed, insights, takeaways and actions agreed, to monitor progress and ensure accountability. As your coach, I will not disclose any information from the coaching sessions with any parties without your consent.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Attending scheduled coaching sessions promptly.

  • Providing accurate and honest information about their health, medical history, and lifestyle.

  • Focus on what you want (not on what you do not want).

  • Complete the tasks and any homework assignments agreed in our coaching sessions.

  • Be honest and open in your conversations with me.

  • Be open to feedback and constructive challenge, as and when appropriate.

  • Be 100% committed to taking responsibility for your own development, decisions, choices and actions, and take the time to participate fully in the program.

7. Coach Responsibilities 

Coach’s are responsible for:

  • Be 100% committed to empowering you and supporting you towards achieving your transformational goalsKeep all appointments and be present for you in sessions.

  • Actively listen and help you explore your ideas, thoughts, beliefs, values, feelings and behaviours without imposing my own.

  • Be empathic and non-judgmental.

  • Enable you to work things out for yourself.

  • Help you consider choices and options and decide which course of action is right for you.

  • Provide constructive feedback and challenge, as and when appropriate.

  • Enable you to establish what help, if any, you want/need and how you might access this.

8. Coaching Relationship

Clients understand that the coaching relationship is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Clients should consult with a qualified healthcare professional regarding any medical concerns or conditions.

9. Intellectual Property

All materials, resources, and intellectual property provided during coaching sessions are the property of The Chronic Illness Coach. Clients agree not to reproduce, distribute, or use these materials for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

10. Termination Clause

We will be open and honest with one another about the coaching relationship itself. In the unlikely event that there is a breakdown in the coaching relationship, inadequate commitment to the process or lack of progress being made, either party may terminate the coaching relationship by providing one week’s written notice to the other party. In the event of termination, any fees paid for unused sessions will be forfeited with the exception of extenuating circumstances as determined by the Coach.

11. Liability Waiver

The Coach is not liable for any outcomes resulting from the client's actions or decisions during or after the coaching sessions. Clients assume full responsibility for their health and well-being.

12. Modification Clause

The Chronic Illness Coach reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes with reasonable notice.

By purchasing a health coaching package with The Chronic Illness Coach, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
